RESEARCH INTEREST
Role of silicon in plant nutrition and plant abiotic stress response: metal toxicity and nutrient deficiency, particularly Cu toxicity and Fe deficiency. Beneficial effects of silicon supply on plant antioxidative defence capacity and molecular mechanisms of plant stress response (expression of the target genes and role of small RNAs). Molecular diagnostic of root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp).
