RESEARCH INTEREST

Application of lactobacilli as probiotics in aquaculture, specifically for improving the growth of young fish and for the reduction of the level of opportunistic pathogens (http://www.imgge.bg.ac.rs/index.php/en/activities/aquaexcel-en). This research is mostly directed towards modification of biochemical properties of aqua-feed. Additional activities include the evaluation of the antitumor and immunomodulatory potential of lactobacilli, using in vitro and in vivo experimental model systems.
