Development of efficient antifungals based on microbial secondary metabolites

The proposed project will be implemented in cooperation with prof. Tobias Gulder, from the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry, Dresden University of Technology (TUD). This project mainly includes biocatalytic optimization of the structure of bioactive compounds from  streptomycetes, their biotechnological production on a larger scale and a precise analysis of their mechanism of action.
