The Nano-MDSC-Thera project celebrates World Мicrobiome Day
World Microbiome Day has been launched by Irish scientists on June 27, 2019. On this day, researchers around the world point to the important role of the microbiome in human and environmental health.
The Nano-MDSC-Thera project is implemented by a multidisciplinary team from the Institute for the Application of Nuclear Energy, the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering and the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, and the project is funded by the Science Fund of Serbia PROMIS program. The aim of the project is to develop new therapeutic approaches for the treatment of autoimmune diseases using myeloid-derived suppressor cells, nanomaterials and intestinal microorganisms composition changes.
The Nano-MDSC-Thera team is joining the world microbiome scientific community in celebrating June 27, in the Small Hall of the Kolarac Endowment, starting at 10 AM.
The entrance is free.
