Nemanja Stanisavljevic, PhD, awarded Innovation Fund's Proof of Concept grant

The project entitled "Novel biological agents for prevention and treatment of American foul brood infection in honey bee mini colonies" aims to assess the effectiveness of B. laterosporus strains for preventing infection with the main bacterial pathogen in bees, as well as to examine the possibility of treating this infection using bacteriophages, ie without the use of antibiotics.
