Milka Malesevic, PhD, awarded at the FEMS conference

At the FEMS conference, Milka Malesevic, Research Associate in the Laboratory for Molecular Microbiology, IMGGE, was the winner of the best poster award intended for early-career microbiologists from transition economies. Milka won the award for the abstract entitled "Quorum quenching lactonases from Burkholderia cepacia clinical isolate attenuate Pseudomonas aeruginosa quorum sensing and virulence".
