Jovana Despotovic awarded EACR Travel Fellowship

Within this study visit, Jovana will perform the research entitled "Generation and apoptotic profiling of stable colorectal cancer cell lines with overexpression or knockdown of miR-17-5p, -93-5p and -21-5p" in the Institute for Biomedical Research in Barcelona. This research is a part of Jovana's PhD thesis that investigates the role of micro RNAs as predictive markers for metastatic colorectal cancer.
