Over the past two days, Belgrade hosted the Nature Conference – Engineered Models of Human Disease. The event brought together leading biologists, bioengineers, clinical researchers, computational scientists, and industry experts to discuss the latest advances in developing human-relevant in vitro disease models. The program focused on two key areas: in vitro engineering of human tissues and modeling of tissue-cell interactions. A large group of researchers from IMGGE attended the conference, taking the opportunity to learn from and engage with some of the world’s foremost experts in the field.
