As part of the "Find out first-hand" program, the Center for Career Development and Student Counseling of the University of Belgrade with the Institute for Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering (IMGGE) of the University of Belgrade, organized a visit for final year students of the Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Technology and Mettalurgy, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Physical Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Mathematics.

Through short lectures dr. Adrijana Lazic, dr. Branka Zukic, dr. Aleksandar Pavic, dr. Lidija Djokic, dr. Mirjana Novkovic and Brana Pantelic introduced the students to the latest trends in the fields of molecular genetics, biomedicine, biotechnology and bioinformatics. The visit included a tour of the laboratories and a conversation with researchers about the scope of research in different research groups, opportunities to gain work experience and career development at IMGGE.
