Dr. Jasmina Nikodinovic-Runic, head of the Group for Eco-Biotechnology and Drug Development IMGGE, was awarded a collaborative project of the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) along with the colleagues from Jerzy Haber Institute for Catalysis and Surface Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Shandong University from China. The BioPolyCycle project aims to develop bio-upcycling technologies for current bioplastics to produce novel advanced bio-based and biodegradable materials for food packaging and other applications.
