Dr Aleksandra Divac Rankov, Associate Research Professor in the Group for Molecular Biology IMGGE, was awarded the NIG-JOINT project of the National Institute for Genetics from Japan. The project entitled “Exploring zebrafish swim bladder as a model for chronic lung diseases” aims to screen the collection of over 2000 transgenic zebrafish lines for those suitable for research in the field of lung biology.
