RESEARCH INTEREST

  • Regulation of gene expression in bacteria: in pseudomonads and lactic acid bacteria.
  • Cloning and expression of the genes in homologous and heterologous host systems for probiotic properties of lactic acid bacteria (production of bacteriocins, the serine type proteinase, aggregation factors and operons for synthesis of EPS. 
  • The study of the interaction of the bacteriocin molecule and the membrane receptor.
  • The study of the molecular mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in bacteria.
