Katarina Martinović graduated from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Pristina, with temporary headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica in 2021.  She completed her master's studies in 2022, at the Immunobiology module, by defending her master's thesis entitled "Immunomodulatory effect of chlorine-disubstituted arylazo pyridone dyes on LPS-activated BV2 microglia cells in vitro". She currently works as a researcher in the Plant Molecular Biology Group at the IMGGE. Her area of ​​interest is the quantification of specific genetic modifications in plant material.
