Ivana Hadži Makunčević is a research assistant in the Human Molecular Genetics Group at the IMGGE. Her research is focused on studying neural differentiation, genomics, and transcriptomics.
Currently, Ivana is conducting the experimental part of her doctoral dissertation, which involves analyzing the neural differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells derived from patients with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.

Ivana has further enhanced her skills by participating in numerous specialized international courses and workshops, including summer schools and training programs in bioinformatics and statistical analysis.

Ivana graduated from the Molecular Biology and Physiology module at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade in 2020, and completed her master’s studies in the Genomics module at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade in 2021.
