Djordje Stojanovic is a Junior Researcher in the Group for Molecular Biomedicine at IMGGI. His research interests are focused on the application of liquid biopsy methods in malignant diseases, with a particular focus on non-small cell lung cancer, the identification of genetic determinants of therapeutic response, and the development of personalized medicine approaches. He actively participates in diagnostic procedures using advanced genetic methods and is involved in both national and international projects within his research group.

He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics in Nis, and enrolled in a PhD program at the Faculty of Biology in 2025, Genetics module.
