OBLAST NAUČNOG INTERESOVANJA

Moje naučno interesovanje obuhvata hronične plućne bolesti poput HOBP, bronhiektazija, emfizema i fibroze, sa naročitom pažnjom prema genetskim i molekularnim mehanizmima inflamacije, oksidativnog stresa, metabolizma ksenobiotika i remodelovanja međućelijskog matriksa. Moje interesovanje je posebno usmereno ka razumevanju uloge genskih mehanizama poput genske varijabilnosti, genske ekspresije, regulacije genske ekspresije, gen-gen i gen-sredina interakcija, ali i epigenetskih mehanizama, u pojavi plućnih lezija.
