Detection of DNA fragmentation in the fresh sperm samples (DFI index)

Integrity of sperm genome is crucial for normal embryo development. A high level of DNA fragmentation in sperm cells, which conventional examinations of sperm cannot detect, may be a cause of male infertility. Identification of sperm DNA fragmentation index (DFI index) may give useful information regarding male fertility potential and outcome of assisted conception treatment (IUI or IVF).

The samples are accepted only with prior scheduling.

The analysis is also available for frozen sperm samples by prior arrangement with the hospital that offers sperm freezing.
