OBLAST NAUČNOG INTERESOVANJA

  • Analiza strukture i regulacije ekspresije gena za rezervne proteine semena heljde (tkivno specifična i kontrolisana u razviću) kao i metalotioneina i aspartične proteinaze čija funkcija jos nije razjašnjena ali mogu biti uključeni u degradaciju proteina ili odgovor biljaka na stres.
  • Transkripcioni faktori (TF) uključeni u kontrolu većeg broja gena aktivnih kod odgovora biljaka na abiotički stes posebno pripadnici DREB familije analizirani kod izabranih biljnih vrsta (Pisum sativum, Phaseolus vulgaris and Lolium perenne). Poseban interes usmeren je na male RNK koje mogu biti od krucijalne važnosti u regulaciji odbovora na stres.
  • Dodatno, od interesa je molekularna analiza fenomena selfinkompatibilnosti (gametofitna SI) što uključuje i analizu genetičkog diverziteta divljih populacija roda Prunus SI), kao i dimorfni oblik SI kod heljde.
