OBLAST NAUČNOG INTERESOVANJA

Molekularna karakterizacija probiotskih karakteristika mikroorganizama izolovanih iz domaćih sireva. Istraživanje laktobacila koji produkuju egzopolisaharide (EPS); kloniranje i funkcionalna karakterizacija EPS operona. Proućavanje interakcija laktobacila sa ćelijskim linijama epitelijalnog kolorektalnog carcinoma (Caco-2, HT29 i HT29-MTX) in vitro kao i interakcija sa limfocitima iz periferne krvi. Testiranje Lactobacillus paraplantarum BGCG11, EPS producenta za koji je pokazano da povećava odnos supresivnih i imunomodultornih citokina kao i Th17 odgovor, u prevenciji i tretmanu dijabetesa tip 1."
