OBLAST NAUČNOG INTERESOVANJA

Proučavanje strukture i regulacije ekspresije  humanih SOX gena: identifikacija kontrolnih elemenata uključenih u transkripcionu regulaciju ekspresije i proučavanje uloge Wnt i Sonic hedgehog (SHH) signalnih puteva u kontroli ekspresiju ovih gena;  Proučavanje uticaja epigenetičkih mehanizama na kontrolu ekspresije SOX gena; Istraživanje uloge SOX gena u održavanju pluripotentnosti, određivanju sudbine i diferencijaciji ćelija; Proučavanje uloge SOX gena u onkogenezi; Filogenetska analiza varijacija na nivou mitohondrijalne DNK u savremenoj populaciji, kao i u  populacijama koje su naseljavale područje jugozapadne Srbije od bronzanog doba do srednjeg veka; Primena fluorescentne in situ hibridizacije  u detekciji mikrodelecionih sindroma.
