OBLAST NAUČNOG INTERESOVANJA

  • Izolacija i karakterizacija novih bioaktivnih jedinjenja sa antibakterijskim, antifungalnim, antitumorskim aktivnostima i izučavanje mehanizama njihovih dejstava;
  • Identifikacija malih molekula sa inhibitornim dejstvom na bakterijski kvorum sensing i virulentnost kao nov pristup u borbi protiv bakterijskih infekcija;
  • Identifikacija novih jedinjenja sa inhibitornim dejstvom na bakterijske biofilmove i biofilmove gljiva;
  • Razvoj novih i efikasnijih terapeutika korišćenjem nano-nosača u cilju usmerene dostave lekova do obolelih organa, povećanja stabilnosti terapeutika i specifičnosti terapije, i smanjenja pratećih neželjenih dejstva uključujući i pojavu rezistencije na lekove.
