RESEARCH INTEREST

The study of oxidative stress in plants of Fabaceae family caused by abiotic factors. Analysis of antioxidant enzymes,  low molecular weight antioxidants and detection of reactive oxygen species in plant tissues exposed to abiotic stress. Analysis of the phenolic composition in seeds of economically important species from the Fabaceae family. The study of bioavailability, antioxidant and antiproliferative activities of phenolic compounds during in vitro digestion in the presence of complex nutrient matrices. Molecular analysis of ancient DNA in species from the Fabaceae family originating from archaeological sites in eastern Serbia.
