Plant molecular biology and physiology: plant tissue culture and plant genetic transformation (buckweat, alfalfa, potato, Arabidopsis, tobbaco, pea); analysis of self-incompatibility system in buckwheat (S-locus genes and proteins); plant stress response (pea); metal hyperaccumulation in endemic Allysum markgrafii; phototropic response in potato, faba bean biodiversity.
