During the Brain Awareness Week 2017, IMGGE has organized a variety of activities for different categories of the audience with a purpose of promoting the public understanding of neuroscience. The manifestation was devoted to colors as the specific theme to honor the 100th anniversary of the Ishihara color perception test. For the visitors aged from 14 to 18, the organized activities consisted of the lecture “Ghosts, delusions and other visual illusions” and the workshop “Coloring by microscope” in IMGGE, enabling the direct access to research laboratories and equipment. For children aged from 9 to 14 the workshops “Light within us” and “Braincolors” with lectures, experiments and color perception tests and optical illusions were organized in the French Institute in collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Chemistry.
