Nikola Popovic awarded FEMS grant

Nikola Popovic, PhD student of the Laboratory for Molecular Microbiology, IMGGE was awarded the fellowship by the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS) for a study visit to Food Research Centre "Teagasc" in Cork, Republic of Ireland.

The fellowship was awarded for the study entitled "Characterization of bioactive peptides from Cheddar cheese released from caseins by proteolytic lactic acid bacteria", focused on investigation of bioactive peptides with a positive effect on human health.
