RESEARCH INTEREST

  • Research of the contemporary Serbian population diversity based on mitochondrial DNA variability which represents a foundation for further comparative analysis of ancient populations that inhabited region of Serbia
  • Testing the bioactive components from edible mushrooms and analysis of their therapeutic potential by applying in vitro tests for cytotoxity, cell adhesion and cell migratory capacity. Analysis of the effect of bioactive compounds on modulation of expression of selected SOX genes and well-known tumor suppressors and oncogenes.
